The Carmine Collection

There’s something about Carmine bee-eaters: the way they move in bursts of colour, impossible to ignore, fleeting and electric against the sky. When I lived and worked in Botswana I taught myself how to paint with watercolours and these vibrant little birds helped me to become braver and bolder with colour and movement. 

This collection pays homage to these birds, and those early days as an artist in the bush.

Hand-painted in rich, expressive strokes, each piece brings the energy of the bush into your everyday rituals.
